Can anyone tell me which leagues offer t-ball for 4 year olds? Any comments on the quality of the league (i.e. the administration of the practice/games) would be appreciated.
Thanks! |
where are you located? |
Sorry- forgot our location. We are in Kalorama, so we are looking for something nearby (NW DC, Chevy Chase). I have looked at the websites for NW Baseball, BCC Baseball, and Kidball... but they don't have a t-ball league for 4 year olds. I'm sure I've seen something before... I thought I've seen kids this age at Rose Park and Guy Mason... but maybe I'm wrong? Thanks!! |
You're thinking about Just for Kids and John Jenkins. http://coachjohnjenkins.com/

Coach John is great for that age -- most 4 year olds are really too young for real leagues and games.
If your 4 year old is really into T-ball, you might try Home Run baseball camp. They took 4 year olds last summer for their camp at Turtle Park (but it is pretty serious camp -- my 6 year old loved it, but 4 year old did not). |
The best part of "Coach Mac" (besides his morning speeches & the TERRIFIC coaches) is that safety is their number one priority! The little ones use plastic wiffle balls and bats! My four year old loved it last year! We also signed him up for the Fall and Winter Camp too! |
Not to confuse "Coach John McCarthy" with anyone else....check out their website www.homerunbaseballcamp.com - Katie Couric's Today Show piece is adorable.... |
