Where can I buy 14K or 18K gold screw back earrings for my child?

Anonymous
Kid already has her ears pierced, but I'm looking for good yellow gold earrings with a screw back for when she is able to swap out the ones we bought at the piercing shop (didn't buy gold there because the markup was ridiculous!). Where can I buy some in person or online? We're in Northern Virginia.

*The Indian stores I've been to have earrings with thick posts and charge extra to swap out the posts (and don't have screw-backs for thin posts even if I did that).

Don’t. Better to loose an earring or back than risk tearing your entire earlobe. Ask me how I know.

OP may have asked because her kid gets an allergic reaction to anything less than 14K gold.

I’m not talking about the gold. I’m talking about the screw.

Reading fail. TJ Maxx just had some on sale for $12-$20. They are not screw backs but so much better. They have the plastic behind making them very light. I unscrew even screws at night while sleeping but haven't lost the plastic back ones yet.

OP here. I'm Indian and somehow managed from 4 months old to now without tearing screw back earrings out of my ears, so I'm not worried about it.

Any specific recommendations, I try not to buy things like this from Amazon without specific recommendations - you never know what they have mixed in with the gold.

You sound really nasty. It wasn't a reading fail and I've seen them online and in store but the stock varies day to day. I might fail in reading but you don't fail in being nasty. I think plastic back that are better and I wear them and mine doing fall off.

Baby hoop earrings (balis). They are most comfortable and do not have screws. Make sure that they are small and snug, so that fingers do not get stuck in them.

OP here - what's going on here? I'm so confused!! I don't think TJ Maxx is likely to have screw back and I'm not interested in plastic backs.
