Archery club in MoCo for kids?

Are there any archery clubs in MoCo? I know there are places you can go for archery, but I'm looking for a club/organization that DC can join for competitions. There is the MD state archery competition, but I believe you have to be part of an organization/club to enter that competition. TIA

Thanks.. we have been to Invicta many many times, but DC is looking for an organization to join for competitions.

To the PP who asked if DC could start the HS club, DC has been trying to with no luck. A teacher must sponsor the club, and no teacher has been willing to take it up. DC has emailed the Principal as well.

I want to say they have an archery camp up at the Germantown Soccerplex. Maybe do some research and find that camp, talk to the counselor and see if they know anyone?

Or get information from the state competition to see if they can send you a list of clubs?

You do not have to part of the a club to shoot in MD competitions. My kid did it the last few years without any club affiliation.

? Which competition? I only know of NASP, which is school based.

? Which competition? I only know of NASP, which is school based.

Maryland JOAD.

Go to Md-archery.org and look at the calendars for events. The md state tournaments are open to anyone.
