Anyone's daughter have an exult 600? 2027 Daughter plays competitive travel lax looking for a new stick and is looking for opinions.
She is a midfielder/ draw specialist and is current using the exult 300 with a mesh runner. Looking for a new stick mainly business she wants a heavier shaft. Then she started taking some ground balls with a teammates exult 500 and was blown away with the difference between that and her current stick, especially on turf. Most of her teammates have Crux 600s or maverick all mesh sticks. She doesn’t like the sidewalls on the Cruxs for draws and doesn’t want to go all mesh. Thanks |
| Have you looked at the new Gait Air stick. |
| Looked at Epoch Purpose? |
| My daughter has been using the STX Axxis for a short time now. She said it is unbeatable on the draw and she is loving it for groundballs. |
It sucks for shooting though. |
Yeah i think that could be worked out though. Stenson at Lacrosse Unlimited in Vienna could probably get it grooved in pretty well. That said, if your draw win percentage is 60-70% because of it, I think your coach would take the possession. In college draw specialists will often win the draw and then once possession is safe, go to the sideline and switch sticks. Pretty common. Possession is king. |
| ugh just dont buy the new draw stick - the axis. |
| Check out epoch purpose, it's 15 deg and stiffer than the crux 600, which can get a bit soft in the heat |
