Class pass?

Does anyone have experience with it? Any feedback?

I tried it for a cheap trial - I think it's a great way to check out different kinds of fitness places and see what you like, but not worth it in the long term. Once you find a place that you like and see working for you, you can generally get a better deal working with that gym/boutique directly. But class pass gives you a good start so you can "shop around" affordably.

I like it because there's a studio that I like but it doesn't have good class hours for me, so I only get there a couple times a month.

When you go to cancel your membership, they will give you extra offers to try to keep you. One of those is 15 points for $15, which is perfect for me. I have a membership to a big gym for general fitness, and then I go to this studio a couple times a month for fun.

I like it a lot. I go to my work gym, but only on days I'm working. Being able to do open gym or a group class that's closer to my house or wherever I am definitely gets me working out more. I've been doing a weekly group class and it's definitely cheaper than actually joining that gym. Definitely do the free trial if you're thinking about it. It used to be egregiously difficult to cancel but it's not anymore.

This is what I did and it was great. I got to try a bunch of different things and I found myself always returning to one studio, so I cancelled class pass and bought a membership there. The best part about class pass is that you lose money if you don’t show up (of course many studios have the same policy) and that forced me to go even if I was uncomfortable trying a new studio or just didn’t want to work out.

OP here; thanks for the feedback. I live around Tyson’s so I’m hoping that there’s a variety of studios.
