Thoughts on Genesis G80?

Seems like a good value for a comfortable, loaded and reliable luxury car, though not on the level (from standpoint of sporty, fit and finish, prestige, etc.) of Lexus, Cadillac, BMW, etc?

Don't waste your money.

Op here, thanks, but can you elaborate for me? I've read generally positive reviews, that it's a good value car for what you get. I'd especially appreciate hearing from people who actually have some version of the car, or had the car.

It might be a good value car for what you get. The problem is that most people still don't trust these brands, so resale can be tough. If you are going to keep it and run it into the ground, then go for it. It's a $60k car. People are getting about $2k off, which is not a lot. Personally, I'd get the E350 instead.

Op here, thanks. I'm actually looking at 2017 and 2018 models, which have depreciated substantially and so I can get that $60K car for around $25 or so. That said, I do also like the E350.

Very good value for money. Well built. Understated luxury.

In that case, I’d go for it
