Trainer for leash reactivity

| We have the sweetest lab in the world. He was adopted at 1 after being turned in to a southern shelter. He is fairly submissive around other dogs but is totally friendly off leash. When I walk him and we see another dog, he barks, pulls, jumps- you name it. I am almost certain this behavior is fear/anxiety based. I’d like to find a trainer who will work with him on leash and then train us how to manage him. We are in Montgomery County. Any suggestions for a trainer? |

| We've used Dave Schmucker at Sidewalk Dog Training. He will come to your house. I think you can look him up on this forum and on Yelp. |

Humane Rescue Alliance has great reactive dog classes. They are six sessions long, inexpensive, and really helpful.
Also, Brittany Fulton of Dances with Dogs, who does some of the training with HRA, is great. |
