| It comes and goes, but happens at least every other day. Anyone know what it can be? |
| Overheated child? Fever? running around? embarrassed? |
| My son's ears do this as well! No fever, not sick. He says it doesn't hurt or anything. |
| My ears and my DD ears do this too, also for no apparent reason. |
Definitely corona virus. Does it really matter? Is it impacting his quality of life? Find something more important to think about.
|
| Is he fair skinned? I do this, and have skin that's practically see-through. Doctor told me it's like my ears blushing. Could be for any number of reasons why a person would blush...change in temperature, hormones, emotions. |

Ah to have a lovely toddler running around healthy.
Don't worry OP he/ she sounds delightful and normal. |
| Does your toddler have redness on their face also? Mine gets red cheeks too. |
|
Sounds like he's releasing body heat.
What is the context - does it happen after he wakes up inthe morning, running around, over dressed? |
+1 that's my DS. He's 14, and he's always been this way. |
| Are they swollen at all? If not, nothing to be concerned about. If they are it's likely a mild allergic reaction to something. |
It’s usually just one ear and happens after he runs or if he’s really into something. It’s just weird because it will turn BRIGHT red and be really hot, and the rest of his face is fine. |
| I have rosacea and get this on my face and ears. it does look like blushing but feels very hot. |
| Did anything ever come of this? Sounds exactly like my 3yo |
| My daughter gets red ears and cheeks when she's running or at the playground. |
