Need Recommendation for Driving Instructor for Mature Student

Anonymous
I have a license but have never owned a car and have never needed to drive so am not comfortable driving. I have not been behind the wheel of a car in about 25 years.

I know have 2 young kids and need to be comfortable driving with them in tow. I want to take lessons to be sure that I am competent and confident before I load the precious cargo. Can anyone recommend a non-teen-ager oriented instructor or company?

I got my license while I was on maternity leave. I used Results Driving School in Arlington (I believe they have other locations as well). The instructor treated me like an adult, which was very improtant to me. Adults learn differently from teenagers (we already know the rules of the road, for example) and I really appreciated having an instructor who was tuned into that. Unfortunately I don't remember my instructor's name or else I would recommend him specifically.

I took lessons at Potomac Driving School in Rockville a few years ago - Harold Bartrum was a patient and calm instructor and helped me to feel comfortable behind the wheel.
