Why do people buy these over minivans? Honest question. I literally don’t understand it.

I have 2 med/large dogs and only 2 kids. I also am essential personnel to get to drive to work in all weather conditions. I only use the 3rd row for occasional carpooling or when Grandparents come in our car.

Similar to the above. Have two 50lb dogs that it's nice to have the third row for day trips/hiking/etc. and the occasional extra adult in the car. Otherwise don't need it and just have lots of cargo space. Do not have any desire for a minivan.

I have a Kia Sorento because I wanted a pop-up 3rd row for the 8-10 times per year I need to drive ILs around and need the extra seats.

My AWD Sienna begs to differ. My DH, who has had many different SUVs over the years says the Sienna is better than any of them in the snow. We traded vehicles last weekend so he could more comfortably take advantage of the 30” of snow at our Colorado ski areas.

LOL. I'm sure the Sienna was going through 30 inches of un-plowed snow with it's 6.6 inches of ground clearance.

In my circle of friends they are decidedly uncool. My friends friends would scratch their heads if I bought one.
