Elizabeth or Olivia?

Elizabeth vs Olivia? Libby vs Livy. We would call her by the nickname.

I like Elizabeth nn Libby a lot. Olivia too, but Libby would be my choice.

Olivia is a great name, Livy is not a good nn.

Elizabeth. I like Olivia but it seems so incredibly popular now. My DS has 4 Olivias in his preschool class of 16.

Elizabeth but call her Elizabeth not Libby. If you insist on the nickname than Olivia (Livy is better than Libby IMO).

Elizabeth. I prefer Lizzie as a nickname though.

I prefer Olivia, but it's more popular right now. Elizabeth feels a bit more "classic". Both are good nicknames... Not a fan of Lizzie or Liz as a nickname. Native Ellie, Betsy, or Beth as alternatives to give you some options.

I like Elizabeth but would not choose the nn Libby. There are so many cuter versions of Elizabeth: Liz, Eliza, Beth. Libby makes me think of Judy Blume books Olivia is cute by itself and I don't think you do need a nn but Livy is better than Libby.

Libby is like Tubby.
