Private schools - Westchester/Fairfield

Can anyone weight in on differences between RCDS, Hackley, and GA/Brunswick for elementary years ?

Brunswick used to kick out the kids caught doing drugs and they would come to Greenwich HS. one of the top HS in the whole country.

That's the beauty of the area, you pay high taxes so you don't need private.

Agree -- except for Catholic schools, most kids go to public schools. This was true when I was growing up in Westport and is true now as far as I can tell from my cousins' kids and my college kids' friends who hail from that area. (I have never used "hail from" in a sentence before -- language geeks, party with me. )

It's always been true in Darien, New Canaan, etc. Less true in Greenwich.
