| We have stayed there. There are a small strip of restaurants/stores next door to the hotel: Columbia’s (Spanish) and an Italian. There was also a Dunkin Donuts and a small grocery store with breakfast and sandwiches. Of course the hotel has two restaurants too. |

| My relatives live in that area, and I have been going there for almost 40 years. The beach across the street Sand Key Park is much nicer and less crowded than Clearwater Beach. I have never had a great meal at Columbia and wouldn't say they are good for kids. I always want to like that restaurant due to the location but it just isn't great. There are a lot of good, fun restaurants in the area but you would need to drive or take the trolley. |
