Children’s books

This may not be the right forum, but I’m looking for LGBTQ-friendly books that would be appropriate for a 4 year old. Ideally books that depict characters in gay/lesbian/queer relationships, not necessarily “message” books. We talk about all different kinds of families but it would be helpful to read some stories that contain them as well. Thank you!

We used this in addition to kid's book "What Makes a Baby" to explain to our son that he was the product of IVF/a known donor. It was super effective.

Other books we enjoy: Heather Has Two Moms, The Family Book (Todd Parr), Mommy, Mama, and Me, The Different Dragon

My daughter's favorite at that age was Stella Brings the Family

Good on you, PP! I'm the poster who read her son Zak's Safari and What Makes a Baby. He was 5 at the time and about to start kindergarten. He got it completely, and it was also a non-event afterwards.
