What is Loudoun Classic/Rec league like?

My U13 player has been on mid level travel teams for the past few years but is burned out and not motivated enough to play travel anymore, and I'm not inclined to keep paying travel $$ if he isn't committed. But he does still enjoy playing recreationally. I'm wondering what the Loudoun Soccer Classic 7th/8th grade league is like. Is it going to be like the Loudoun Challenge in grade school where some of the kids couldn't even kick the ball? We're just looking for decent enough players to make it fun and a little competitive, get some physical activity, and maybe re-spark interest enough to play again in HS.

Find a team with his schoolmates or friends. My DA kid who burned out now plays for his high school and for a rec team with his schoolmates. On his rec side he plays with a smile and a laugh--first time we've seen that in years.
