I started re-watching "The Closer" a couple of weeks ago on Amazon Prime Video. I got through 5 episodes of the first season, and tonight when I logged on, it says The Closer is no longer included with Prime Video. I'd have to rent/buy it.
Why did this happen? I'm watching on a Samsung Smart TV and my wifi went out today. Could that have changed my settings somehow? It remembers all the shows I've been watching, so I know I'm logged in. I'm just so confused why the show would suddenly no longer be available. |
| The licensing deal expired and/or Amazon chose not to include it in the free prime package. |

Amazon has gotten so annoying with the Prime. I go to Amazon Prime, search a show, find it, click on it, only to then be told it isn't included in Prime. Or watch one season to then find out other ones aren't included.
If I am searching Prime, then don't show me things not in it. I shouldn't have to select Prime twice. |
I find the mobile app so much better. It only shows me what's included with Prime. I usually look for something to watch in my iPad, then actually watch it on my laptop or TV. |
| The Closer is on during the day on Lifetime. |

I'm getting annoyed with prime videos as well. It used to be easy to search for stuff that's included, and now they seem to want to list everything and you choose something to be told that well yes, it's free, but only if you sign up for some stupid trial of something.
And yes, they are taking away more and more things that used to be included. |
