Gas is up

Prices still dropping toward $4, but that might not hold, given the new war belligerancies and the limits of the strategic reserve.

Iran is waiting for the pain to hit. Mid June(12 days) gas will be $5 and by July $6-$7. There is no incentive for Iran to deal with Trump and the Republicans. Trump and the republicans on bended knee to Bibi.

Iran is not going to let Trump and republicans off the hook. The closure of the strait will go on till after the midterms unless Trump just gives the Iranian everything. I think that will eventually happen but who would trust Trump or the Israelis to live up to their end?

It's quite awful that Americans are in a state of constant civil war so foreign adversaries can ally with one party against another.

Remember when Reagan and the Republicans colluded with foreign terrorists to embarrass Carter domestically?

Sadly not enough even if I did follow IranContra every day through all the hearings. But Ollie North has been rehabbed and probably the inspiration for Trump to pardon the J6ers.

Our son has had a car for about a year - got right at the end of his junior year of college and recently drove home after graduation. He made some road trips while in college but was mainly local. He doesn't always pay close attention to details but even he commented on the rise in gas prices over his last semester at college.

The PP is referring to the 1979 Iranian Hostage crisis. Ollie North and Iran-Contra was a decade later.

Trump is draining the strategic petroleum reserve so it won’t go higher than the high under Biden.
