you are correct, non Flex match DCU will use 2011 to develop and sit 2010 bench, DS told me not suiting up.

see . . . . you pitchfork wielding, jealous, child-can't-make it, losers don't understand. The reason DCU has more losses and draws than the other two academies in their division combined isn't because they're behind them in any way, it's because DCU is playing chess while they're playing checkers.

DCU is the only one focused on development over wins. These matches don't matter. They do not demonstrate anything regarding player development or match preparation or tactics or coaching.

Stop focusing on wins and losses and look at the things that really matter, like turning the talent they're able to gather into the best players they can be and making sure they reach, and succeed at, the next levels. (Oh wait . . . . .)

Nevermind.

Where is the development for the poster’s DS who is not playing and the 2011 is playing instead?? Academy doesn’t allow outside playing. So much can be learned from playing in a game against other academies or not.

So . . . what was the plan when the 2010s lost to Delco and SYC and drew with Cedar Stars in Flex matches?

The 2010’s group is loaded with talent. Perfect example of how the club is doing an awful job of developing talent.

Please list your youth development expertise, experience, certifications, licences and current professionals you developed through their youth careers.

Just so we can know your keyboard opinion is actually Expert Knowledge.
Thanks

Oh, my apologies! I must have forgotten to clarify that my opinion isn’t just random keyboard commentary—it’s actually grounded in fact. I’m confident I know the system better than most and am well-qualified to speak on the matter. By the way, would you agree that if the current staff at DCUA lacked these credentials, they probably shouldn’t be working there? Well, I suppose some staff contracts might not be getting renewed then. Anything else you’d like me to prove before I continue?

We're talking about you and your non-expert opinions you're trying to masquerade as facts or knowledge.

Can you provide a list of all the MLS Clubs Academies coaches licenses and certifications?
Just so we can compare actual facts and not opinions.

🤣🤣
Which professional academy suits up everyone for every game?
Not the MLS Next teams and ECNL teams suit up everyone for every game.

You have no clue about the academy world, just by this statement. Barring injuries, everyone gets suited up. You think academies overload their roster like a MLS Next or ECNL team?

ALL academies have more than 18 players per squad.
More than 18 can't suit up for games.

Therefore, all can't play every game Shirley

Actually this statement is the perfect example of how YOU know very little about the academy world. Game day rosters for MLS next games, which DCU is obviously included is limited to 18 players BY RULE. Considering all of the rosters at DCU are over 18 kids, someone is going to sit out if the whole team is healthy. Real academies make the kids compete for the roster for the weekend because everyone can't suit up. https://www.mlssoccer.com/mlsnext/resources/technical-standards/

DCU playing chess? That is the most ridiculous statement I have ever seen. If that is true, DCU is playing the absolute worst game of chess in history then...If you read the posts people are saying that the wins actually don't matter. What matters is the development. DCU is definitely NOT focused on development. If they were, their end results with the players would be much stronger than what it is with the talent they have in the region. Development is clearly not happening at DCU for so many stated reasons that its actually too hard to list them all now...The reality is that many of the posts on here are from DCU parents. You're clearly elated that your DS just made the team (low expectations)...Everyone else expected their son to make it and now that they are in it at DCU and see what a mess it actually is, they are focused on how to make a bad situation at DCU better. You should do the same.

Kick it and pray to the football gods...

If you had put this much effort into your kid's development, you wouldn't be lowered to this.
Or better yet, if you just accept the reality you'd all be fine.

Nothing you say makes a difference to DCUA players and parents. Different level.

You're like temporary gum on bottom of shoe... if noticed at all.

Sure does seem to make a difference to you. At this point, that is good enough for a lot of posters. LOL!!!!

FACTS. And honestly, they won't progress that much as players in DCUs system because it is just not a good system. Sad.
