February FET

Hi all! Well...four unsuccessful blood draw attempts and one successful blood draw later....we’re officially starting our FET cycle!

Will take any advice, recommendations, or good wishes.

Best of luck. Don’t fret too much about it. I had 3 transfers and didn’t drink leading up to the first 2 but did for the last and that one stuck. My 3 week old is currently acting like it’s not bedtime.

Good luck OP! I did pre and post transfer acupuncture with both my FETs (both successful). Who knows what role it played but at the very least it was a way to relax and helped me feel positive about things both before and after the procedure. I took it easy for the first 24 hours (not bed rest, but mostly laid around the house watching Netflix) but then basically resumed all my regular activities. The two week wait is hard so try to plan some stuff to take your mind off it (we did a lot of restaurants, went out to the movies, a day trip to Shenandoah).

I made sure to move around a bit after the transfer. I also did the pineapple and Brazil nuts thing. Who knows if that helped. Baby’s now 7 weeks old.

Good luck! I know the injections are not fun but they have better outcomes (SGF did a study) and those suppositories are groooooss so don't be afraid. Some people do bed rest but my RE said it was better to keep my circulation going so I took a long walk in the woods the day of transfer. Eat healthy but don't go crazy. I liked the idea of acupuncture but the one at the clinic wasn't covered and I just wanted to go home so my husband did acupressure he found online. It was relaxing, which is always helpful. I also listened to guided meditations whenever I started to feel anxious/negative. I also planned a really busy, fun day after I went in for the day when we would be waiting for results...ended up being a day of celebration because they called way earlier than expected with positive news. He's now a napping 2 year old and I still can't believe it. Good luck!
