I’m buying it brand new and plan to hold on to it for about 10 years. My current car is 10 years old and I knew I wanted black and I haven’t regretted it. This new car, when I see it in the dark midnight blue, I love it. But then I see it in black and love that too. Then I go back to blue but wonder if I would grow tired of the blue and want black. (I’ve never liked blue as a color in general, but I’m strangely drawn to this blue.) I know, small issue, but it’s a big purchase and I don’t want to regret it.
If you were torn between two colors, how did you ultimately decide? |

| Blue, don't like black, white, tan, silver and grey cars. Get what makes you happy. |
| Go with your heart, what you get most excited about |
I feel like that’s blue, but I have always hated blue cars. Maybe this is the perfect blue, who knows. |

I really wanted my current car in midnight blue, but they didn't make the trim level I wanted in that color. I'm not keen on lighter or brighter blues, but the navy/midnight range is my favorite.
I have a friend who paints cars, though, and he says that blue is the toughest color to match, if that matters to you at all. |
| Are they metallic colors? |
| Blue! I love actual colors on cars. Red, green, blue, yes even orange and yellow! Black is so boring and also shows everryyyyything |

Blue for sure. What car
? |
| Definitely blue - I’m on my fourth blue car - but I also want to know which car it is. |
| DH and I always make sure we see a car with the desired color in person and, especially in the sunlight, before buying. My current car is stunning burgundy and I am looking at the dark blues for my next car. If you love the car in midnight blue, get it. |
| If it's the Q5, yes, go dark navy! |

Silver or black
Make sure the blue doesn’t have any other undertones. See it in the bright sun |
| I have a BMW in the midnight blue - super dark l- I think it is called some form of black actually. It seems pretty timeless. |
| Orange. |
