I'm looking for a very comfortable rocking chair or glider and willing to spend a little money on it. Any idea on where I can look? |
I love my dutailier glider. We bought it in another city at a babies r us--I definitely recommend going somewhere you can try lots of chairs to see what's most comfortable for you. |
Pottery Barn Kids has some nice gliders. |
Buy buy baby has lots of gliders to try. |
Also think about getting a reclining glider. They are more pricey but Im thinking of upgrading..
My standard glider was nice but so many 3am feedings I wished i could lean back just a bit and cuddle and close my eyes during nursing. I know that straight up and down is supp to be optimum position for feeding but at 3am I needed some recline! Also even w/a pillow in lumbar for me the straight up was uncomfortable... |
Baby 2 Teen (or close to that) in Manassas--it's a drive but they have a good selection and they also have a clearance room in the back. They also have semi-regular big sales, you might want to call and ask when the next one is. |
I have an antique rocking chair and soooo wish I had a big, comfortable glider/rocker like the armchair kind from Potterybarn. It would have been lovely to have something large enough to snooze in while holding DD. |
