| I lurk on the GTA listserv and noticed that the GTA seemed to have blocked a subscriber who posted some valuable insights. Is this some sort of an elitist group that wields power to stymie a fair exchange of ideas? One of the posters, I noticed was the former president of the association who seems to think his children are gifted and any school they went was a magnet! |

| Kumar is very annoying. He had a child go through Blair magnet years ago (and doesn’t like the program). Does not have kids in MCPS currently. |

That guy might be annoying to those who oppose minorities in GT. I don't care if he has any kids in MCPS. Hoven had a son in MCPS who went thru Blair and played a part in the boring Beauty and the Geek show. Hoven being brought back worries me that we will be back to the dark ages.

| This is not an organization known for its diversity or for representing the views of a crossection of the MCPS demographic. They are simply a voice for those obsessed with the belief that their children are gifted and anyone who suggests otherwise are an inconvenience. |
