Do you have a good one -- I mean, other than the obvious boil up the spaghetti and open the Ragu?
Thanks! |
| I think the TJ turkey meatballs taste just like gyro meat, so we make gyros with them. Slice them up and serve in pita with sliced red peppers and radishes. Add tzatziki (sp?) sauce. You can make your own with greek yogurt, grated cucumber, grated garlic, olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper. You can also add feta to your tzatziki sauce. Make sure to squeeze the excess water out of your grated cucumber or the sauce will be watery. Enjoy! |

I'm not sure where I picked upthis recipe, but it has become a staple for us with turkey meatballs....
Put the frozen meatballs in a saucepan, and add: 1 can beef broth 1 can cream of mushroom soup .5 can milk (or so) 1 small container sour cream Sometimes I add a pinch of flour to thicken it up a bit. The sauce combines like gravy, the meatballs thaw, and I serve it over noodles. It's very similar to swedish meatballs and SO good. My kids love it too. |
