Comfy, compact dining chairs

..that are easy to clean. And by comfy I mean cushioned. We are tired of our IKEA plastic chairs. Does my dream chair exist?

Cushioned and easy to clean is a tough ask. Do you mean a chair with removable seat cushions?
Anonymous
No, ideally an attached cushioned seat.

Maybe? It says the seat cover is washable. I assume you can also find things in a higher price point if that's what you're into.

What is the price range you'd like to be in?

I think Ballard Designs has some great looking chairs that are smaller in scale. Since they are at Tysons, you could probably sit on a few to get an idea of their comfort. You can order them with performance fabrics, but that might be expensive. Here's the dining chair page on their website. They often run 20, 25, and 30% off sales. The best deal is when they have 25% off and free shipping (it works out to be better than 30% off and paying the furniture shipping charge).

If you want to spend a little less, World Market has great looking chairs. You could treat them with scotchguard. They run a lot of sales, too. You can also get cash back from online orders if you use a site like Rakuten. Here are their dining chairs.

Even lower in price, but I'm not sure of the quality would be Pier 1. They are closing 450 of their stores, so you might be able to get some good deals.

Here's an expensive option: https://www.roomandboard.com/catalog/dining-and-kitchen/chairs/afton-chairs-with-fabric-seat

You can get it with leather seats if you want something that would be easier to wipe off.

My kitchen and dining room chairs are from World Market and they're great quality!

Your best bet, OP, is likely leather. I'd look at places like allmodern.com or cb2.com. Or just Scotchguard the hell out of upholstered chairs!
