I'm looking for a new lunch box for my husband. All of the lunch boxes I've found appear to be aimed at children or women. Do you have any suggestions? FWIW, he rides the bus and the metro to work, so he needs something that's easily carried around.
Thanks! |
| Does it need to be an actual box? There are lunch sacks that are soft, made of insulated fabric, and either look like a soft "box" or suggest the form of a paper bag. |
| OP here - It doesn't have to be an actual box, but I think it should have a handle/strap. Thanks! |

I went to www.Amazon.com and under the "Home and Garden" area I typed in a search for "Lunch box." A variety of options appeared, including stainless steel "towers" as well as the soft box/pouches I was describing. |
| Go to Target. They have a lot of soft-sided insulated bags just for that purpose. They are made by Igloo and the like but they are designed to carry lunch. |

try laptop lunchboxes.

I use an LL Bean in lavender. But there are plenty of colors that might appeal to your husband. It's big, easy to clean, and has been very durable.

| You could check out the sporting goods departments. We have these bags that golfers use and they would be great as a lunch box. |
| My husband has one from LL Bean. Lots of adult options there. |
| The Container Store has insulated lunch bags and boxes. I bought one for my husband that is black and has straps. It looks a bit like a purse, but he carries it anyway. There are lots of styles out there. I also purchased reusable tupperware-type containers in different shapes and sizes to use for different foods. I also bought a couple of reusable ice bricks. In all, the system works really well. |
