Opthamologist

I'd appreciate any recomendations for an opthamologist to do a general eye exam - I need new glasses & contacts but have had unpleasant results just going into a store (even high end ones). Dupont Circle or Friendship Heights areas preferred. Thanks.

I'd recommend Wanda Pak, but she's on New Mexico right near AU. Not sure if that would work for you, but she's excellent.

tigani - close to the Friendship Heights metro - well regarded. i saw one of his partners- Sara Merrill and was very pleased.
