2-year old Daycare/Early Preschool options in NE DC and College Park/Hyattsville

Hi. Our family will be moving to the DC area in July. We will be moving to Capitol Hill and I will work in College Park. We are looking for a daycare or preschool option for our 2yo that's on a reasonable driving path from Capitol Hill to College Park (more or less). (at least we are looking to get on some kind of waitlist now and see how things will shake.)

We are trying to avoid denominational centers and our child won't be 2.5 until December so 2.5 preschool options are out for us (as is the CYC at UMD which starts at 3). Finally we are looking to stay under $420/week. We especially like home-daycare centers, but they can be a little harder to find on the web. I was able to come up with this list by browsing this forum and looking at the spreadsheet. But if anyone has other tips, they would be most welcome. Thanks!

in MD:
- Heritage Learning Center
- Georgetown Hill
- Zam Learning center

in DC:
- the hill preschool (caterpillar program)
- Amazing grace

Zam: NO. We toured but got feedback from friends and family that this place was not reputable. It was a little scary while touring too.

Heritage and Georgetown Hill are great choices. Georgetown Hill is a little pricey and Heritage has a LONG waiting list for infants. I don't know about the twos room though.
