The title says what I’m wondering about, I went with a friend because I have these forehead lines I’m sick of looking at, however I am nursing a toddler (that’s another story), anyway do any of you have experience with getting Botox any bad side effects, you were warned about? |
Of course botox is not compatible with breastfeeding. If you just went and got it I guess your baby is on formula now.
It's a neurotoxin. |
My doc told me that Botox is not recommended for nursing or pregnant women. They are injecting a toxin into your body. Don’t do it until you’ve weaned. |

This from the guy who has studied effects of numerous medications on breastmilk. Often he says that toddlers are also a whole other ballgame, but wait a few hours, to be sure. |
My doctor wouldn’t give me Botox until I stopped nursing.
If you’ve already the injections, OP, do not breastfeed. Period. |

Wow, doesn’t that make you rethink injecting it into you?? |
All of the threads and questions on this forum are first world problems. |
What hysteria. My Derm and high risk on said it was fine. |
So all of the links say it’s fine. Wait a few hours. Are you all unable to read? |
