Botox & Nursing

(Apologies in advance if this is not posted under the right section)

The title says what I’m wondering about, I went with a friend because I have these forehead lines I’m sick of looking at, however I am nursing a toddler (that’s another story), anyway do any of you have experience with getting Botox any bad side effects, you were warned about?

Of course botox is not compatible with breastfeeding. If you just went and got it I guess your baby is on formula now.

It's a neurotoxin.

My doc told me that Botox is not recommended for nursing or pregnant women. They are injecting a toxin into your body. Don’t do it until you’ve weaned.

This from the guy who has studied effects of numerous medications on breastmilk. Often he says that toddlers are also a whole other ballgame, but wait a few hours, to be sure.

My doctor wouldn’t give me Botox until I stopped nursing.

If you’ve already the injections, OP, do not breastfeed. Period.

What hysteria. My Derm and high risk on said it was fine.

So all of the links say it’s fine. Wait a few hours. Are you all unable to read?
