Have you priced out a new TLX - I was surprised how discounted they are. I think we are going to get one in the next few months for DH.

Op here. Haven’t proved them recently but I’m a used car guy anyway. I would like to have CarPlay in whatever I purchase.

The TLX was recently on a cars to avoid list. I would not buy one. Acuras have not been faring well with reliability.

Why not just buy a new Accord but not as well equipped?

Op here. Because the immediate depreciation isn’t worth it to me.

The TLX with the 9 speed automatic transmission is the one to avoid. That transmission is found in the V6 models (which can be either Front wheel drive, or AWD)

The 4 cylinder model has an 8 speed Transmission that does not have the issues of the 9 speed transmissi9n.

A base TLX with front wheel drive and the 4 cylinder engine is a tremendous value. Assembly quality and noise levels are superior to that of the Accord.

That's the thing. A used Honda is not much less than a new one. There isn't really much depreciation unless you are going to keep it forever.

Shhhhh!!! Someone has to buy my gently used 3 year old Hondas for 3000 less than what I paid for it.
