| Is anyone else having trouble getting Calleva to take your credit card? |
| Yes, it isn’t working! |
| My kid is going to be so pissed if he doesn't get in to fishing camp... |
| Yes, these idiots at Calleva made us line up like pigs at the trough, and now they aren't even letting us eat. Ridiculous. |
| I managed to get my transaction processed, but didn't quite get the weeks we wanted. pretty irritated because i was in the queue to get them. Oh well, the kid will deal. |
Did it just work one time? |
| Is this camp that good? |
| And now the whole site is down. |
|
Is there any hope for new campers who register next week?
Is it like this every year?j |
I've been to their site before and found it clunky and hard to navigate. We're not registering, but perhaps they need to do some site upgrades. |
I was able to sign in 3 minutes early. It took my credit card. Thrilled - because I was shut out of Girl Scout Camp
|
Seriously. Why can't they get their sh*t together and prepare. |
|
In queue for 50 minutes before whole site went down. A friend managed to get through. This has happened before...I steal myself for the Calleva registration process. It is always stressful and it seems every 3 years this happens.
They obviously use a developer who does not know how to write code to run on multiple processors...or they are on a totally crappy web host. Granted...this is a tough one from a technical perspective so grant them some slack. But, really, this happens twice a year, every year. Figure it out. To the new camper - the stuff that fills up tends to be the higher level things - Greskos, some of the High Adventure camps - the basic Explorers can usually be gotten into. And then you'l be returning and can stress every year with all of us
|
Yes, for those reading who are registering for stuff like explorers or sampler, you'll be fine. It's the more unique camps for older kids that fill up more quickly. They need to figure this out. |
| also - cubs typically fills up |
