Those freakin’ rubber bands

If your kid has/had braces and has the rubber bands, does he/she take them off and leave them in random places? So gross. Mine does. She’ll take them out to eat and leave them on the kitchen table. Or on her nightstand. Or, if I’m really lucky, I find them in my carpet while vacuuming.

I had them as a teen too. It’s embarrassing enough when you laugh and they go shooting across the room.

Ha! I was just complaining last night about finding them everywhere. I don’t think she’s taking them out and losing them, but they’re more likely falling out of the little bags she’s constantly losing. But she does miss the bathroom trash can with them a lot. I’m terrified the cat’s going to start eating them.
