| Does anyone know how hard it is to get into theater camp for a 5th grader? My DC auditioned in DC yesterday, but I have no concept of the odds. Any insight would be much appreciated! Thank you! |

| I think the most challenging course to get into is advanced strings. I believe if your kid seems half way human, which I'm sure they are - they should be fine it will just be about numbers and that varies from year to year. |

| Most programs at Interlochen are not super competitive. PP is correct that the Advanced Strings and Advanced Piano programs are competitive at the Junior level, but mostly they want to fill their camp. It's an expensive camp, but they can charge those rates because the faculty is top-notch and they are very organized. DD has come back a changed human after each summer (she's done two, one Junior and one Intermediate). |
