Thoughts on Mercedes' electric vehicle line (the EQ)?

Anonymous
Just found out yesterday Mercedes is finally entering the electric vehicle market, with their EQ line.

I'm especially interested in the EQC, which starts at $69K. It's modeled after the GLC obviously, which is a great car. The interior looks gorgeous.

I applaud competition but would want to wait and see some test results.

We're watching this too and preparing to buy one in a year or two. DH says they are already on the road in Europe.

Apparently the test results are quite good.

I commute in such a way that I can't take public transportation, so I've been looking at an electric car as the better option for the environment. I love Mercedes and would definitely buy one once they come on the market here.

keep in mind the the fuel you buy for a car is only part of the environmental impact. take a look at how they mine the materials for the batteries in electric cars. there is no magic transportation bullet.
