Should we have sex today--need some advice!

Anonymous
I went to SG for my initial consultation and tests (FSH and ultrasound) and was told everything was "average" for my age. I am almost 40. My husband was tested and has no male factor issues (he's 42). Time is obviously of the essence.

SG told me that ideally, we should have sex every other day when the OPK showed even the faintest of lines (not wait until it was positive for the surge). We have done that and today, I got the positive test for my surge. We had sex yesterday...

SO, my question is should we have sex again today and tomorrow or just wait until tomorrow? I know SG said every other day but I can't help but feel like waiting a day is a waste of my surge time!!!

Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated!

Well, TCOYF says if there's no male factor, it's ok to do every day. Also, I think that if you do it a couple days in a row right around your ovulation but then every other day the rest of the time, that would be OK.

Also, seems like today would be better than tomorrow, so better to do it today for that reason. Like, if tomorrow is too late, then better to have it 2 days in a row than to wait a day.

Make sure you have an orgasm. A) it helps for conception, B) it's more fun.

Also, use pre seed and don't use any lubricants.

Good Luck.

I agree with the previous poster about the orgasm. I my case it has been vital to get pregnant.
