Tesla Model 3 RWD

Anyone have any insight into how these do in DC winter weather?

Will it have proper snow tires? Or will it be equipped the way most idiot drivers around here buy tires - with crappy all-season tires?

Because if it has snow tires it will do just fine.

If you keep the same tires all year round, then you'll just be another idiot causing problems for everyone. But you've got plenty of company.

Genuinely curious, why would this rear wheel drive car do any better or worse in the snow than any other RWD sedan? Sorry if I am missing something

There is some concern that the regenerative breaking that EVs use is bad for winter, but I haven't noticed that being a problem. You can always turn that down if you want.
Also, some Tesla drivers might get too used to the strong acceleration, which is bad for a any car in the snow/ice.
In general, drive carefully, just like you'd drive any other car in the winter, and you'll do fine.

Tesla also claims that the car is better balanced and heavier so that it does better than a normal RWD sedan.
