Early pregnancy and exhaustion tips

Anonymous
I am only 5 weeks pregnant and struggling to make it through a day without a nap. Any tips?

Take a nap. I'm not kidding. Rest if you need to. Set a timer for 20 minutes.

Take the nap. Seriously. If it's your first then come home at 5 or 6 and pass out until 8. Eat and sleep some more. That's what I did with my first since I had the luxury of no kid at home. I also took car naps at work for 15 min during the day.
It will pass most likely by 13 weeks.
Good luck.

Nap. And get your Vit D levels checked.

Sleep in your car during lunch. Take a nap in your office. I used to sleep in our filing room during lunch. One time I even accidentally fell asleep sitting in my chair upright. I also went home and slept from 8:30-7am daily. It was wild.

I dont have any advice aside from naps. But I want to say for me the fact that I was experiencing this tiredness right when I had to cut my coffee/espresso consumption in half was a real hardship. I keep it under 200mg per day but I am 15 weeks and still miss my PM espresso.

I napped under my desk on a yoga mat... Thankfully I have an office with a door.

Naps never worked for me, I always woke up more tired and cranky. But I started going to bed as early as I could, like 7:30 or 8.
