Preschool and Daycare Discussion
|
We've just moved into the McLean area and would appreciate any suggestions on full-time pre-schools in Mclean. The only ones I seem to find are part-time.
Thanks in advance -Working mom |
| How old is your child and what hours do you need? |
| I have 2 children aged 4 and 2. I'm looking for all-day (8-5) |

I have a home day care near Haycock ES and have an opening for a 2 yr old. My kids tend to go to Montessori or
to Columbia Baptist on Wash Blvd in Fch. They may have openings, one of my parents works there. Let me know, |

My son's home daycare Little Stars, located near the Trader Joes on Route 7 in the Pimmit Hills area of Tysons is about to have openings for 2 kids.
My son is 3 and has gone there for almost a year and has thrived. Hours are 7:30 to 6:00. It would be a good place for both kids until you can figure out a true pre-school for your 4 year old in the fall. Another suggestion that is both preschool and daycare is Northern Virginia Christian CHildren's Center - NVCCC off Westmoreland Road in the basement of the Charles Wesley Methodist Church. My 8-year old went there and it is most likely where my son will go in the fall. Hours are the same - they have a good preschool and pre-K program. You can e-mail me at elisabeth.johnson@inova.org if you'd like more information about either option. |
| I know this is an old post. I am also looking for Daycare for an Infant (Newborn in Sept.) and Preschool--my DS will be 2.5 this summer. I need full time care in McLean or Arlington as both my husband and I are working full-time. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. |
| NVCCC is a great choice and an excellent value |
