Where can I do mini ivf or low stim cycle?

I haven’t been responding too well with max dose stim. Others told me mini ivf may work better for me but my RE won’t do it. Where can I do mini ivf in DMV area? I’m not really interested in natural cycle ivf at the moment.

I do low stim/mini IVF at GW.

Cornell - the travel is a little bit of a hassle but doable

My doctor at SGF let me try a low dose protocol. It didn't work for me, I ended up with a lead follicle and it was converted to an IUI. But you can ask your current RE if they'd be up for giving it a try.

PP. Sorry, I totally missed the part you said your RE won't do it. Dominion is NCIVF friendly, maybe they'd do mini IVF as well.

Cornell or New Hope - both in NYC

Most RE won’t do it because lower number of eggs retrieved leads to lower success rate. Locally Dominion will retrieve as low as one egg, stim or not. Most others might just convert to IUI in those cases with less than five follicles.

PP who does mini stim at GW here. I shoot for 3 follicles and go to retrieval for two or more.

I was skeptical about natural cycle IVF, but it really only takes one good egg. We did 3 cycles with Dominion and the third hit.

I did at Dominion. Sarajari.

Same here, third one hit. Overall spent 16K because second cycle cancelled without transfer. So average $5500, slightly less than single cycle $6500 sticker price.

Have you tried New Hope in NY? Looking for people who have...

My doctor at SGF is having me try a mini stim cycle (Dr. Devine), but that's also because we tried high dose antagonist and micro lupron flare first (I only got 3 eggs each time and one ended with a chemical, one ended with no embryos to transfer). Dr. Devine has been pretty helpful though. She took my suggestion of a double trigger because I always have empty follicles so we're trying that this time. I'm only mid-way through the mini stim but it's basically a combo of letrozole and menopur (75, bumped to 150) with an HCG + lupron dual trigger.

I feel fairly certain Dominion would. They do natural IVF too. IMO Dominion is willing to do whatever the patient needs/wants within reason. I saw Dr. Dimattina at Dominion.
