| Looking for a summer camp for a rising Kindergartner in NE DC, in or around Brookland/Edgewood/Woodridge, etc. He'd probably do best at one location for all the weeks, not jumping around to multiple different camps. Aftercare would be helpful to have. Suggestions appreciated. |

St. Anthony, DPR, Kids and Culture near Ft. Totten might work.

Urban Adventure Squad will probably have camps in Brookland, but they haven't posted details yet. |
UAS is fantastic but fills up quickly. |
| I think the Headfirst bus now picks up and drops off at Union Market. Might be a little much for rising K though. |

| Does St. Anthony's have a good range of ages? We did Langley last year and it was good but I felt like it was almost all K and under. Unless the bigger kids were somewhere I didn't see them. |
St. Anthony's camp goes from pk3 to 2nd grade. The kids are broken up into three groups by age. They usually open registration sometime between February and March. Camp runs for 6 weeks and costs approx $1700 for the six week period including before and aftercare. I know it's less without before and aftercare. The camp goes on a field trip every Friday using a bus they charter. They go to Turkey thicket maybe twice a week. The other two days they do water play at the school, spend time in the library, computer lab, gym, art room, and classroom. |

My kids also had a good experience in K and 1st at the RDU Tennis camp at Trinity. I think they also run sessions at Catholic.
