Sick of Trugreen

Anonymous
I've used Trugreen and Scotts before the acquisition for years and every year I have to call to get my pricing adjusted because they randomly increase my rates and change my plans. Which companies do you all recommend?

Why do you pour so many chemicals into your lawn?

Your lawn still looks like crap after all the chemicals, so what’s your point?

+1. You know their old name was Chemlawn, right?

I hope they are spraying chemicals, why else would I pay them.

It’s toxic, OP. Please don’t.

Check Angie’s list for a local, well reviewed company. That what we did. Went with a smaller company based on good reviews.

Try bio green. A local company. We use them and like them a lot.

Your house looks ridiculous with its bright green luster while everyone else around you has pale green/brownish green grass in the winter.

I just de-thatch about once a year and aerate every other year and then mow my leaves in the fall and that does a pretty good job of keeping my lawn looking pretty good without having to use a lot of chemicals. I sometimes spot spray weeds as I'm getting too old to pull out weeds.
