dating musicians

I am 24 and currently seeing this 29 years old guy for the past six months. He is a wonderful person and very talented singer/guitarist. His day job is director of finance at a non-profit.

Lots of women literally throw themselves at him every time we go to open mic clubs and he plays/sing John Mayer songs. How should I deal with this?

What are your options? Be a jealous b!tch or be cool? I pick be cool.

Trust him. Also really cultivate your own interests. Musicians tend to be busy and not super available with free time (practicing/playing). You just have to get used to the female attention. If your relationship works and the communication is good, you have nothing to worry about.

(My husband is in a band.)

Narrator: This is why he became a musician in the first place.

You’ll have to find ways to deal with it if you are serious about the guy.

A musician’s wife, married for 12 years.
