If they have been fine with all the other ones, they will be fine with this one. Similar in terms of levels of violence, etc.

The only actual violent Star Wars is 3 that might scar a kid. The other ones are kiddy, especially the Disney ones.

We're rewatching the entire saga (1-9) right now and just finished 3. I agree you might not want to show that one to kids -- especially the part where Anakin kills the younglings. Really awful.

The rest should be fine.

The new ones, I don’t even think anyone loses a limb. It was a trademark in Episode 1-6

Thanks for asking, OP. I checked common sense and they say 11+. They said 10 for #7 and 10 for #8 though, and my 6 year old watched both without issue (though on the couch on a tiny tv with lights on—very different than the big screen)

OP here. My youngest is 8 and has seen them all over time and 3 was the only one that upset her.

My fairly sensitive 6yo who has seen most of the others was fine in the theater.

My nine year old enjoyed it. We did not take the 6 year old; it would definitely have been too intense for her but she's pretty sensitive.
