First world UMC problems..
4 yr old is starting yoga classes. She is VERY picky about clothes and won’t wear anything tight (no leotards) or tank tops. Trying to figure out some brands that that might work. Short sleeves, that won’t fall up when you do downward facing dog. Ideas? |
From before the age of 4 I had issues with turtle necks, any other clothing that felt restrictive, etc., so I definitely relate. Some clothing makes me feel claustrophobic.
My recommendation is to post in the parenting - special concerns forum where folks will probably be able to make helpful suggestions. Good luck. |
She's only 4 - she can wear a t-shirt and leggings. |
They are not going to have a 4 yo do downward-facing dog in kid yoga class, OP. Sweats are fine. |
how about a kid romper/jumpsuit so there's nothing to fall upwards when she bends?

I’m a yoga instructor, and absolutely have my 4yo students doing downward dog. That said, my students wear anything that makes them comfortable. I’m not adjusting postures like in an adult class, and the young students aren’t as self-conscious if their shirts come up in poses like that. |
T shirt and leggings, and she can tuck in the shirt if it's falling around her face and bothering her. |
Cute |
Yes. Tuck her shirt into her pants or leggings. |
You know that yoga was developed in India, and they don’t wear tight-fitting leotards in India, right?
Anything comfortable is just fine. |
Primary! They have great basics.

Primary has slim fit t-shirts and leggings. Or just buy or put on an old t-shirt that's a bit too small and hugs her belly. |
