How to Present gift to Teacher(s) @ preschool?

Anonymous
How do parents present the gifts to the lead teacher and teachers assistance?
Do you ask your child to bring the gifts and cards?
DO parents go in class and give the gift and thanks?

We don't know the teachers that well (sadly) and our nanny has been doing most of the drop off/pick since we both work FT.

Thank you for any feedbacks.

I used to go with each child to preschool on the last day, and hand each gift to my child to hand to the teacher or assistant. You'll need to know everyone's names and who's who to do that ("Give this one to Sally..."), but it's really sweet when the child hands out each gift. I used to buy Godiva chocolates for everyone, so I'd just arrive with the big Godiva bag, and hand my child each little box to walk across the room and deliver. It's good for the children to understand that they are saying thank you with a gift.
