Just scheduled fertility consult

Here's hoping that I have the same experience a friend had: finally scheduled the appointment with the fertility doctor, and immediately found out she was pregnant (no treatment required). Not that I expect the same fortune, but I'll cross my fingers anyway. Sigh.

Good luck -- I remember thinking the same thing. As Peggy Orenstein said in her book about infertility, it makes you "hope's b*tch."

That said, I hope you are one of those crazy "it happened on its own just before we were going to start treatment" stories...

OP here. Got a positive pregnancy test three days before my scheduled appointment. Yay!!!
