| Is it worth the tuition? |
| Awesome school for creative, crunchy types. In the middle of nowhere. |
| I don't think it's any different than other SLACs in that regard. If you think private SLAC tuition is worth it in general, then yes, otherwise no. |
| I don’t think it’s worth 75k. But I don’t think any college is worth 75k |
| Top notch, well respected, particularly good for artsy types but athletes also. Worth the tuition as much as any other place is. |
| It’s not really in the middle of nowhere. I mean it kind of is and the town is small but it’s easy to get to both NYC and Boston on the train or bus. I mean it’s not like Kenyon or Grinnell or something. |
| Wish to hell they gave merit aid. |
Do any schools of that caliber give merit aid? |
| I went there and received an excellent education. I hope my older child can go there or to a similar liberal arts college. |
| No. |
Grinnell. |
Exactly. And Grinnell is better. |
| I think Wesleyan is more highly ranked than Grinnell. But it's a great school too and a better fit for many kids I'm sure. |
| Middle of nowhere is totally the wrong way to describe it. CT is boring, but it's in a town that is right in the middle of the very crowded northeast. |
Hardly the middle of nowhere. I recall people saying Dartmouth was in the middle or nowhere too. Those people obviously never visited. |
