We are moving to Bethesda this summar and want to move DS (4 years old who is currently at a Montessori) to a Montessori in the Bethesda area. Any feedback or experience with Loan Oak Montessori (Old Georgetown Road), the Bethesda Montessori, The Manor Montessori (Bethesda Campus), or Walden Montessori Academy? |

i have a child at manor's bethesda campus -- they are fabulous. |
My child will be attending Manor at the Bethesda location in the fall. We registered for the fall after a fantastic experience with the camp last summer. I've heard Manor described as "warm Montessori". I think they are true to their motto of allowing children to experience a love of learning. I like the facility - small but clean and cozy. The outdoor play area is very nice. (For us, it will be a little bit of a hike but I know, just have that "feeling" that this is the right place for my child). |
Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate your time & the comments. |
I know i t is not exactly in Bethesda, but does anyone have references on the Spring Bilingual Montessory Academy? I am particularly interested in their Spanish program. Thanks a lot. |
Does anyone know what are the fees for Manor Montessori?
Their website doesn't seem to have the info, and they don't offer it via e-mail. |
Replying to the Q about Spring Bilingual:
These are my random thoughts about my experiences with this school. The administration is not the most organized... Most of the teachers are wonderful, but the school needs to make it easier for teachers to communicate with parents. I know some parents love the car drop off, but it keeps parents from easily interacting with the teachers on a daily basis... Some children thrive there, especially if the language is reinforced at home. Don't expect too much from the language program if it isn't reinforced at home... It would be nice if there was room for the kids to run around inside on rainy days. |
