Full day Summer camp for 5-6 year old

| In MoCo, any good, safe & fun summer camp for 5-6 years old full day (8am - 5pm) from mid-June to late Aug? I hear YMCA or montgomery county is a hit or miss, but the expensive ones tend to be more better because of the ratio & the instructor. How much is average for week of decent summer camp? I have a budget of maybe max $450/week. Any recommendations? I prefer it is located near Gaithersburg/Rockville area. |

At that age, my kids were happy at KAH summer camp, which is one of the cheaper options for full-day coverage. It had a good mix of activities, plus field trips and swimming once a week, and was fun and easy to handle. | YOu are not going to get 8 to 5 at the private school camps for $450/week. The base week is usually around $400-450 from 9 to 3 or 4. |
