I've been dating a guy about a month. We had sex for the first time last night and it was not what I expected. I really like him and I thought sex would be great. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't very good. He was a little tipsy and he was a little timid. I really like him and I wonder if I should give him a couple of more chances or end it. I know the first time can be less then good, but this just felt weird and awkward. I wasn't expecting it for how much chemistry we have.

First time sex is usually only good for the woman if it is all about her pleasure. 5 dates in and 30 days is very unlikely to produce that.

The first time I had sex with my now husband was terrible. We are a little older and combined with his heart medication and his nerves, it was terrible. 2 years later, we are married and it's awesome. Had to work through some things. Glad I didn't give up on him.

Better single, unmarried, and childless than 45 years of awful sex.

I divorced my first H for reasons other than bad sex, but it was a bonus to be free of that. Remarried a man who is loving and a great lover.
