festive holiday clothes

DDs are having Christmas parties at school and the teacher wrote to wear festive clothes. If you have DDs what would you send them to school in?

A holiday themed shirt. No way I’m sending them in the dresses they’ll wear to the Christmas Eve church service. If you don’t have holiday themed shirts, put them in the colors of whatever holiday you celebrate. Red for Christmas, blue for Hanukkah. Or just something cute.

Thank you, I love how you further read into my question. We have a few really dressy Christmas dresses sent from grandma and I was considering sending them to school in them but probably overkill.

I have one dd who would tear her dress or come home with dry erase marker or food stains on it. She also would probably be uncomfortable in it. Not worth it.

Places like Walmart, Target, ect sell cute and cheap holiday shirts-pair with leggings or skirt for an inexpensive festive outfit.

Red and green clothes paired together. A festive scrunchie or something. Or a holiday / winter themed long sleeve tee.

Red shirt and jeans or leggings for Holiday themed. Red bow or hairband

For Valentines - Wear the same shirt, switch the pants to white.

Halloween - Orange shirt. black skirt/pants

We usually get themed shirts and leggings from cheap places like Walmart, Target, or H&M. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone dressed up in fancy clothing or dresses at my kids school on these days.

There are some surprisingly cute (and cheap) holiday tops, leggings etc at Walmart this year.
